Derivative Art

A while back I said that I had a trademark. This post will not be about my trademark.

Rather, it is pictures formed out of other pictures just for the fun of it. I in no way claim that these pictures are truly mine: I mixed and edited them together, but I did not originally make them. A keen eye would see works by Albrecht Durer, Rene Magritte, Salvador Dali, Victor Vasnetsov, William Blake, and other prolific painters melded with photographs taken by Jeff Hutchens and other photographers. I hope to pay tribute to these greats.

Just to stress it: these are derivative works. They are not original at all and all the credit goes to their creators.

Disclaimer, as always.

The Shield fan art

The burial of Curtis Lemansky

I think I've found my trade mark.

Coloured shapes + black rectangular background too small to hold them = WIN

As before, these pics were made from other pics from l4dwikia and tf2wiki.

For example:

The Survivors of Left4Dead 1 and 2

The characters of Team Fortress 2.

THE MADNESS (Images)

Yogg looks great in red.
Here are a few images related to madness.

A CREEPYPASTA POST PART 2: That icky feeling on the back of your neck

Considering I haven't posted in a while, and I have tons of saved pasta on my flash drive...yeah. This blog is my dumping ground for extemporaneous pastas. Remember, these aren't mine, they were written by Anonymous authors, I am only sharing them.

A CREEPYPASTA POST: DEATH AND DYING

I mentioned before that I was pretty "in" with creepypasta, going so far as to join an actual community all about it. Now, I'll start off with the big daddy of human fears itself: death. So come closer and smell the decay breathing down your pretty neck...

Idea vs Execution

Does it make a difference why you do what you do?

Would two actions, aesthetically identical, but with polarized intents have the same effect?

Is morality so entrenched in the act of doing something that everything we do is for a reason?

I first experienced this when I tore open a bag. Violently. The plastic bag in question was filthy and not worthy of reuse; so I tore it to prevent it from being used again. My father thought I was angry when I did it and reprimanded me for being angry.

THAT is what I cannot understand. Does tearing=anger? Do aesthetic cues really dictate emotion and thought?

Personally, I believe that actions exist in isolation and its meanings are relevant to context. An action would not express intent for me, I view everything as separate; some things can be put into a gestalt, some things can't, and certainly, there is no way to link everything together.

On the same thread of thought from above, if ripping and tearing always implies anger, would crying always imply sadness?

Ronnie Gardocki Fanart!

I LOVE The Shield. I'm a late viewer of the series, which ended in 2008, but I can totally say its right up there with Justified.

Here's some fan art about my favorite member of the Strike Team, Ronnie Gardocki!

Alignment Macros-Lawful Good!

First is Raylan Givens from Justified:
Why is he Lawful Good? Because he acts for the good of others and with respect for the law. He also has his own organized manner of doing things (like giving Tommy Bucks time to go before shooting him). I daresay that he's one of the best Lawful Good characters on TV-since television usually portrays such characters as humorless, crusader-like dispensers of objective goodness, its nice to see a character that's true to his own morals and still remains complex.

Now, for a different kind of Lawful Good character:

...Andrew "Ack Ack" Haldane from The Pacific! The quote is the perfect definition of his character: he fights both for the safety of his men and for his idea of goodness. Obviously, this sort of Lawful Good character is more easier to discern: in the context of the Pacific, people like him, in comparison to the rest of the soldiers, appear as the big "good" in the series. This doesn't make him any less compelling of a character, however.

That's all, next time, I'll post some neutral good characters!

Some more images I made

I like the machine code meme.

The special infected from Left4Dead, with alternate colours.

The original images were taken from EncyclopediaDramatica.ch and left4dead wiki. The photoediting was done by me.

So, I made an Ed, Edd n Eddy Alignment Chart

Explanation:
Double D: He is well-intentioned and follows a code of his own.
Nazz: She is nice to every kid in the cul-de-sac, but doesn't involve herself much.
Ed: He looks out for his friends, on his own terms.
Rolf: He's all about rules, because of his Nana.
Jonny: He has a go-with-the-flow attitude.
Eddy: He is quick to break the rules, but its always his own well-being that goes first.
Kevin: Lawful purely because he doesn't rip on the Eds without good reason.
Sarah: She only does what she does for herself, and doesn't care if anybody else gets hurt.
The Kankers: They mess up things just for the fun of it, especially the Eds' plans.

This alignment chart is credited to me, Truncheon.

Truncheon's First Post

It's everyone's favorite fanfic-writing priest, Truncheon! (And by everyone, I mean my zero fans.) Since nobody ever bothers to read bios (lol), I'll tell you why I made this blog.

There used to be this forum on creepypasta.com, a collection of creepypasta (if you don't know what this is, google it now. you'll be pleased ;)), called MONOLITH. That was easily the funnest forum I've ever been on. The People shared stories and generally acted very awesome indeed. There was a caste system too, of mods, grumpy veteran users, tryhards and new users trying to make a name for themselves (I was a member of the tryhard caste, I think). Also, I used to write fictionalized accounts of the exploits of that forum. Yeah, I WROTE FANFICS FOR THEM. Unbelievable, right? But things there could get pretty spicy at times, it was like watching syndicated TV without any of the kerfuffle. It had a nasty, prolonged case of troll-itis, but it was okay, The regulars held them back. One frightful day, a major troublemaker named Roddy trolled our admin, and she left us for good. By that, I meant the forum started to slowly die because nobody could pay for the domain. She was careful to disable the main page of the forum before she left, too.

Still, we regulars stayed until the end.

The end happened a week or so ago.

All of a sudden, there was no forum. Zip. Nada. Gone.

This brings us to a few days ago, when I was cooking up a plan to contact some of the regulars, since I stupidly forgot their contact emails. This blog might be the only way for me to get their attention, barring joining Facebook *shudders*.

So, the main purpose of this blog if for me to talk about creepypasta, my old forum and other things I find interesting. I'll also upload stories, not all of which are my own, from time to time.

And for good measure, I'll try using a summoning spell to call the regulars. Here it goes

MONOLITH FORUMS CREEPYPASTA RODDY RODINA TRYHARD THE BOARDS CHESH FANFIC CREEPY PASTA BANANACORN MODS ADMIN DOMAIN WHO WAS PHONE CONGRATS ON CONTINUING TO BE THE STALKERY FUCKS THAT GOT YOU ABANDONED IN THE FIRST PLACE, HTH

gosh I hope this works.

Oh btw, here's a picture of me, provided by someone named Giggles:

I assure you, the 'stache is real. Also, you'll see which part of the weapon I derived my name from!
